Icons are missing from bookmarks after import from IE

Using Firefox for first time. I imported my bookmarks from IE, which all had little icons to the left of bookmark name. In Firefox, the icons did not import. Can I get my icons back?

Firefox should add the favicons if you use the bookmark to visit the website.
