firefox runs extremely slow and i mean extremely when i start to download using qtorrent, this problem doesn't exist with other browsers eg. chrome
If I have tabs open in firefox and i start to download torrents using qtorrent on Ubuntu 11.10 firefox begins to take a very long time to load the pages. Presently i have qtorrent running and i had to open chrome to send in this message because firefox is taking toooooo long. I'm not sure what the linkage is between the two programs.

Yes i have gone through them but they don't address my problem because my problem is more specific. Generally i don't have a problem with the speed of firefox until i start downloading with qtorrent.
