Firefox 3.6.28 crashes after every starting in normal mode, safe mode and profile manager mode too. Cleaning *.sqlite files with sqlite shell didn't help. WinXP

Firefox can't run in any mode, I can see only Mozilla Crash Reporter window. Such crash-report nas been done: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/93e1c441-8294-4173-843a-2e71a2121217 I don't wanna upgrade Firefox version, so what can i do to keep using 3.6.28 version?

That is not a useful stack in that crash report.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Thank You, the problem was in some ad-tracking cookies. When it has been deleted, both FF 3.6.28 and 17.0.1 began to start correctly. Of course, it's very strange that so little thing can interrupt the work of browser so easy, but all well that ends well )
