Reinstalled Firefox. Each time I open Firefox, bottom half of the screen taken by Bookmarks Library Window (similar to "Bookmarks show all". I can slide it down an minimize but when i restart Firefox , same window taking half of the page again. Really annoying....

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.
