Tried installing Mozilla firefox on an Acer windows 8 tablet. Although Mozilla indicates it was downloaded it will not run and cannot be found in the list of programs. Tablet Specs are; 

Windows 8
Intel r Core TM i3-3217U CPU @1.8 GHz
4 GB Ram 
64 Bit
59.0 GB HD

Hi there,

Can I ask, is there an error presented on installation attempt (if so what) and which "list of programs" are you referring to:

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features

C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

or the Metro apps screen?
