Hi,

I use Firefox on my phone, desktop and tablet. Even in my workplace I have Firefox installed. All of these are synced. there are certain Add-ons that i want to keep only on my office desktop version of Firefox. But this sync brings all those Add-ons required for office specific work to my other personal devices. Can this be controlled? I cant see any option to select the add-ons which i want to be synced.

HI akhi_s27, Yes this can. Open up Options/Preferences and click on Sync. From here you can manage if Add ons are synced.

Post back to let us know if this helps.

That option only lets me decide whether i want to sync my add-ons or not. What I want to do is sync only certain add-ons and not all.

Maybe it works if you install only those extensions in the Firefox profile folder that you want to Sync and install the others globally in an extensions folder one level higher than the Firefox profile folder

Maybe also toggle the services.sync.addons.ignoreUserEnabledChanges pref to true.
