Is the latest version of Firefox compatible with HP Simplepass?
Since I've upgraded to Firefox 14, HP Simplepass is not working. Can someone help me with this problem? Thanks!

We've reached out to HP, and they are working on a new version of simplepass from a new provider, so it will be coming eventually. Please contact HP for more help.

HP is currently working on a new version of Simplepass, and will be releasing it eventually.
Note that your System Details List shows multiple Flash plugins.
- Shockwave Flash 14.0 r0
- Shockwave Flash 13.0 r0
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.
- (32 bit Windows) C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
- (64 bit Windows) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\
The flash plugins have nothing to do with this issue, unfortunately. I doubt that HP is working on an update to the Simple Pass software because the supplier of the software, Authentec, was acquired by Apple in late 2012. The last update to it was some time in 2013. My biometric reader, also utilizing HP Simple Pass, that was previously functioning fine with Firefox has now stopped working with this upgrade to V 30 of Firefox. I would be really grateful if they did upgrade it, I just doubt it.
