tmesina, do you notice any difference in crashing when Firefox closes if you:
- Try Firefox Safe Mode Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
- Disable hardware acceleration: Upgrade your graphics drivers to use hardware acceleration and WebGL
- Update your plugins: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
Are you using "Clear history when Firefox closes" to clear any data like history or cookies?
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history": [X] "Clear history when Firefox closes" > Settings
