how is the redirection feature controled?
I often get prompted to allow firefox to redirect me to another site. At least one of the websites that I use simply goes into a loop of prompting me to allow re-direction and as soon as I allow it I get prompted again, It never stops.....

Sometimes there may be multiple redirects or maybe some JavaScript isn't working properly with this setting.
The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
