Menu Alt-p, Alt-o goes to Settings; why not continue Alt-p for Privacy, Alt-a for Accept cookies?
This is about Firefox browser for windows PC's. I want to use the keyboard to change settings by using the Alt-key combinations available from the menu. For example, by pressing Alt-t, the drop-down menu for Tools comes up. Then, by pressing Alt-o, I can to to Options (a separate tab appears for General settings). But then the Alt-key combination stops working (it used to work in previous versions of Firefox): I should be able to continue with Alt-p for Privacy. And then to Alt-a for Accept Cookies, Etc.
Actually, I should be able to do this all in one go, without ever stop pressing the Alt key: Alt-t-o-p-a And the Accept Cookies would toggle on or off. The same goes for all the other underlined letters that appear in the Settings pages: none of them seem to be working!!! These underlined letters seem to be remaining there only to deceive the user!!! But all these underlined letters (at least the ones I used to use) were active in previous versions of Firefox. Grateful if you could correct this. Mario

I need a specific answer to my specific question. The question concerns the use of the Alt key to get various menu options. It used to work in previous versions of Firefox. It stopped working when the Settings were moved to a separate tab instead of pop-up dialog box. I believe this was not intentional. So it needs to be corrected. Thanks, Mario
