Tab problem

I open Firefox and I get about ten tabs open for add ons. I've changed settings, updated and even removed the program and re-downloaded. Nothing helps. Now, it's crashing on me and doesn't ask to restore previous tabs.

I've never had a problem with this browser and I've been using it since shortly after it came out.

Do you have this problem on your Kindle device or on a "desktop" version of Firefox, for example, on Windows, Mac, or Linux?

Some Windows users have encountered problems recently with Firefox losing track of their extensions and having to remove one or more settings file and then getting prompted to re-approve them. The Extensions section of the Add-ons page might also say that you do not have any extensions installed. One possible cause for that is a suspicious program named "MalwareProtectionLive". If you have not scanned your system recently, you can supplement your regular security software with the free cleaning tools listed in our support article: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
