Accidentally deleted a folder and now can't recreate the shortcuts that were in there.
I had a folder on my home screen with 3 internet shortcuts inside it. I accidentally deleted the folder and so lost the shortcuts. Not the end of the world, I will just recreate them. However, when I tried to select add to home screen, I got the message that the shortcut already exists. This happened for all three shortcuts. I tried to replicate the problem. I made two different shortcuts to two different websites and put them in a folder. I deleted the folder and tried to remake the shortcuts and the same thing happened. I have cleared the cache, and cleared all Firefox data. I have rebooted the phone and still cannot recreate the shortcuts. Any advice? I am running Firefox 40.0.3 on a Samsung Galaxy J5 running Android 5.1.1

change the name of the folder you want to recreate again when it says it already exit.
Thanks for your reply. However, this does not help. I cannot create the desktop bookmarks. I don't even get as far as folders. My problem is when I tell Firefox "Add to home screen". I then get the message that the shortcut already exists.
