Prevent a child from disabling Norton plugin.
I have Norton parental controls installed on a child's laptop. However I often get an email from Norton stating "The Norton Family browser plug-in was turned off on: <<PC-Name>> - Mozilla Firefox Can I prevent the plug-in being disabled?

Hi,
I think it should work if you edit the access that your child have on their profile.
Start > Control Panel > User Acounts and Family Safty > "There you shold be able to set up a security, so they can't change the Norton program.
Not sure if this was exactly what you looked for, but it could work.

Hi Adrian,
Thanks for providing an answer.
You are welcome to include your email address publicly on your own profile, and the website link on your profile; if it is a website you are involved with or run. However there is no reason to sign your posts with the website address.
Note your profile can be edited by using the dropdown menu from your name on the top edge of the forum pages; or at /users/edit . You will need to be logged in to edit your profile. Others will see it at /user/addeadrian or if they click on your display name under your avatar.
Please see Mozilla Support rules and guidelines.
Hi John,
I see that, thanks for inform me. I will add my website in my profile instead, do you know if it's do-follow or no-follow? John99 said

I am not absolutely sure, but as far as I know: Profiles are indexed by search engines. In the forum open solved question threads are indexed, but unsolved threads are not indexed any longer. That changed a year or so ago as it was reasoned solved threads were the useful ones that people needed to be able to find. I imagine inactive archived threads are also no longer indexed.
Okay, thanks.John99 said

Per this Norton Support thread - http://community.norton.com/en/forums/browser-plugin-disabled-email-notifications - "The Norton Family program still logs Web activities and also blocks websites when the Norton Family extension is disabled."
It goes on to say that "The disabled functions are: Social networking, Safe searching, Video monitoring (for Premier users), & HTTPS web monitoring." Doesn't mention Parental Controls being controlled by the Browser Plugin.
You should check with Norton to verify the veracity of that.
