My old computer crashed. I was able to save my MAIL file, so all my messages seem to be intact. However, my old original profile was not saved. How can I set up a new profile and then put my saved mail messages and folders in that profile.

Creating a new profile shouldn't be difficult. Just install and run Thunderbird, then set up your accounts again.

If you truly have the Mail folder from your old profile, then the ImportExportTools add-on should help you import its folders.
