email wont open attachments
When I receive an email with an attachment, it will not let me open the attachment, it says the file is corrupt or has not been decoded. I had the same email sent to my boss, he was able to open it, he then forwarded it to me, and it let me open it then. But it will not let me open it from the original sender.

Is it just the one email with the attachment, or is this an ongoing problem?
There are a couple that were sent to me that I can't open.
and do you know if concerned emails were sent from the same server?

It appears that you've isolated where you should look for the source of the problem!
Let's call the email correspondent in question Corr1, and the server in question SV1.
Do you get communications from anyone else through SV1? Do you use SV1, or a different server?
What OS are you using?
