how do I shut off spell checking
I'm sending an email, with a BASIC program as an attachment. The variables in the program look like misspelled words and won't let me send it unless I click ignore for every one of the (misspelled) words. How do I shut off spell check

ISTR there is a "Stop" or "Cancel" button on the spell check dialogue box.
If it is truly an attachment, I'm surprised that Thunderbird is trying to check its spelling.
