email notifications used to have a cool pop up box,lost.
when an incoming email used to arrive a pop up box with the thunderbird logo used to appear bottom right of screen with short details,i can't remember when this last happened and would like to get it back

Tools > options > general > When new mail arrives ....
Hi Wayne thanks for the reply all three boxes are ticked Show An Alert Show a tray icon Play a sound all work but no pop up box
Hold the shift key while starting Thunderbird to start in safe mode.
Do you get the notification in safe mode?
Still the same Matt no pop up box
