I had to change my PROFILE, again.

Saved pw and logins to Excel. Instead of opening them one-by-one and adding them, how do I either change format to .JSON and add to profile, or add them in plain text to Lockwise?

The other day, I was viewing my PROFILES because oi horrible script error and slow browser messages and my db and json files were incomplete (by a mile) after transferring the files to the second profile.

Thank you.

Hi

Firefox can import logins saved in CSV format, but this feature isn't enabled by default and you need to toggle a pref on the about:config page, see the note at the bottom of this article.

If you have exported the logins before in Firefox to CSV then importing this file shouldn't cause problems. Otherwise you may have to create a test export that you can use for comparison.

The note at the bottom of the page was critical. I had no idea why I couldn't save to file.

I now have 900- logins restored. I restarted the computer about two hours ago. Seems they filled in recently, because they had not been there at first.

Thank you cor-el. I resolved something - and you helped. Been struggling mightily the past couple of weeks.
