Firefox 99.0

I guess it's a problem with the latest update because it didn't happen to me before. Gmail keeps showing me this message: "Gmail is having authentication problems. Some features may not be operational. Please try logging in to troubleshoot the problem." I have relogin, deleted the cookies and site data but I still get that message. I have tried starting the browser from "about:support" in troubleshooting mode but the error still appears. This does not happen in other browsers.

Thanks, the problem was a add-on: CookieBlock. I had to uninstall it and, in addition, to delete cookies.sqlite and permissions.sqlite files.

Hello, try to delete the cookies.sqlite file that you copied to delete all saved cookies. You may have to delete the permissions.sqlite file as well to reset all permissions in case you were blocking data. Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache. Note: This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to. To clear cache and cookies do the following: 1. Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history. 2. Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything". 3. Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active. 4. From the details list, check Cache and Cookies and uncheck everything else. 5. Now click the Clear now button. Further information can be found in the Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox

As far as doing a Reset, your bookmarks should not be affected - they're supposed to be there after the Reset. IMO, a better troubleshooting approach would be to create a new Profile, and see if that Gmail problem is lessened or eliminated (at least temporarily). You will be able to switch back to your current Profile quite easily. Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles Do not remove your current Profile at this time, this is a troubleshooting exercise.
