Hi! I recently switched from an older version of T-bird on PC to the latest version on a Macbook. One of my most-often-used features was the "Move to" menu when filing all of my emails from my inbox to one of the MANY folders that I have.

Rather than drag to folder, inside of folder, inside of folder and having to guess where the folder is, I used to be able to just type the name of the folder in the search box that was located at the top of the "Move to" dialog box. Under that was a list of my most recently "moved to" folders as well sorted by which ones I used most recently, not alphabetically. On my Macbook it's not there! This is a potential deal-breaker for me after using T-bird for decades.

Any ideas how I can get that back or somehow come up with a "workaround"? I don't know of any way to "search" for a folder. . .only emails, which would at least give me a clue as to where the folder that contains an email from a certain sender would be, but now always.

Fingers crossed I can get that search bar back! Thanks in advance :-)

That field you can type into must be coming from an add-on. You'll want to check with the author of the add-on.
