Downloading Account statements from E-Trade Brokerage, online ?
Howdy;
My name is Michael.
I am failing to download brokerage statements from the E-Trade Brokerage internet site.
I have enclosed what appears on the screen when I double click the 'Account Statement, for July, on the E-Trade Brokerage internet site: 'Download failed"
mhtml:file:///C:/Users/Murphy/OneDrive/Documents/Screenshot%20of%20FAILED%20%20download%20from%20E-Trade%20Brokerage;%20July%2024%202022.MHT!cid:C99A0122FB3A4B70955F09696A534DEA@dns
2. I have attached the E-Trade Account Statement page.
What can I adjust to download these E-Trade account statements ?
Respectfully Michael

Note that Firefox doesn't support MHTML files, so you will have to use another external application to open such a file if you aren't using "Save Link As" or save the file otherwise.
Dropa;
After I select Account Statement for July in the E-Trade's Documents section > below is what I receive in the address bar and without the July statement on the page:
https://edoc.etrade.com/e/t/onlinedocs/doc?docType=stmt&docId
Mysterious: On my Dell Laptop with Windows 10 operating system and the Firefox browser; when I launch onto E-Trade's internet site > select Documents > select July Account Statement (one click) > the July account statement loads on the page with the below address:
file:///C:/Users/mkmm9/Downloads/Brokerage%20Statement%20-%20XXXX1991%20-%20202207.pdf
Why does my Dell Laptop load an E-Trade account statement and my Desktop with Windows 10 operating system and the Firefox browser DOES NOT load the E-Trade account statement ?? In Firefox, on 'Settings', in the 'general' panel; for the Desktop and the Dell Laptop computers; the selections appear to be identical.
Respectfully Michael

I have not received a response to my query.
Moreover, I am unable to download documents delivered via Zix mail. The downloads report "FAILED".
Respectfully Michael
Hi Michael, does the site let you download by using the right-click > Save Link As method on that download link? If so, does that work any better?
Also, where does the message appear that the download failed -- is it on Firefox's downloads list that opens from the toolbar? If so, sometimes there's more information available if you click that item (usually it will have a > indicating more information is available).
This information would still be helpful:
