Since the latest update to 106.0.2 "check for updates" runs non-stop until I disconnect from my vpn (ExpressVPN for Windows 7). I can reconnect my vpy but after a short while I cannot open other tabs or windows. I get the message "server not found".

What is going on? You have a fix for this?

I have used FF for years but his might make me switch.

Sounds like a ExpressVPN connection issue as you stated that when you disconnect it works just fine. You should contact ExpressVPN support for connection issues.
