Thunderbird log in problems
I have used Thunderbird for a number of years with 2 e-mail addresses and on various windows devices. My current problem is with one address and one device only. I am receiving this message “Login to server mail.xxx.co.uk with username xxx failed.” I have tried everything I can think of including re-installing Thunderbird, deleting and reinstating the account and changing password. Can you help please.

I have solved this myself. I decided that there must be a corruption in the Thundebird data files, and that I would have to uninstall Thunderbird and delete all associated files to achieve a clean re-install. A Google search told me where to find the files to delete.
