Thunderbird not receiving new messages unless Connection Security is turned to NONE
My Thunderbird email app quit receiving new messages 6/13/2023 and I've had to use a different way to get emails on my laptop (note that it works fine on my pc) I finally got around to searching for answers and noticed a Mozilla Support thread that mentioned if the Connection Security is turned to NONE then messages are received. This worked for me too, but it doesn't feel safe to keep the security turned off. What can I do?

just a guess, but disabling your antivirus from scanning email is usually the simplest.
T7 did that help? If so, what AV are you using?
