IMAP on Thunderbird is blocked by Gmail?
Hello, I was wondering whether anyone on this forum had a similar issue with mine? As of today, Jan 31, 2025, Thunderbird can't access my Gmail accounts, would that be a Thunderbird bug or is it to do with any recent Gmail updates? I did a quick search online and found very old chat that were suggesting the OAuth setting in thunderbird, but mine was already enabled on all Gmail accounts. Thanks

What does "can't access" mean? How does this inability to access manifest?
In my case, David, (I agreed with the original poster that I have that problem, too, which just started today), on Thunderbird there is the display of just the number of new texts, but no list of the emails is shown and nothing is displayed in the window, so I can't access any of those emails.
