downloaded 4.0 to MacOS 10.4.11...doesn't work...lost my previous version 3.6?? alonog with bookmarks, etc

Apparently 4.0 is for Intel Macs only. I have a Power Mac. Actually, my wife uses Firefox and now she is reeaally mad at me cuz she cannot open her browser. I went back into the Macandfound the original version 2.o. It opens up but has my bookmarks and not hers and it acts squirrelly. I could not find a version 3.*** to download anywhere online.

You need to be aware that the methods of storing bookmarks have changed. See for instance Firefox 3 upgrade switches bookmarks and other settings to older version You will have to be very careful not to permanently loose bookmarks and paswords. See also http://kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks
