My wife accidentally downloaded the Chinese version of Firefox, do I have to uninstall and reinstall to get the English version?
We live in China - I am an American. She is fluent in English but not good with computers. In order for me to help her on her computer, I need everything in English. She accidentally installed Firefox in Chinese.
Do we have to uninstall it then reinstall it to get the English version or is there another way?
Thank you, Markis

You can uninstall the Chinese version, then install the English version, available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
I know that! That is NOT my question. My question is MUST I do that?
That is the best way. When you uninstall Firefox using the default settings it does not remove your user data such as bookmarks and passwords. They will be available when you re-install Firefox. Just make sure you do not choose the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data and customizations".
