In the past, I used to have an auto complete function that would take me to a website even if I didn't type the entire URL.

For example, just typing "you" in the address bar would take me to youtube without any extra searching or clicking.

I know currently the "awesome bar" is similar and shows the url, but that still needs me to click and search.

Does this thread help? In earlier versions, the URL Bar had this feautre where you could type in certain key words or phrases and it would take you to the relevant site directly, much like Google's "I'm feeling lucky" feature. | Firefox Support Forum | Firefox Help.
