I downloaded the English version by mistake; how can I have the French version. I tried downloading it over the English one, but it does not work. Thanks.
I just downloaded Firefox 4 in English, but what I really want is the French version. I tried to download the French version and install it over the English one, but the original English stayed on.
I tried this user's suggestion http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/804974#answer-159585 which is for XP but it does not work on Mac.
I have a MacBook - OS 10.6.6 - Intel 3.06
I hope someone can help me with this.

You did download and install the French version?
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop
- Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
- Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.
