Firefox and any site we get through it, shows up at 50% of screen unlike those from Explorer. Display settings and resolutions have been adjusted and again, work perfectly with Explorer. How do I get a permanent resolution, I will not be going to task bar and zooming in for every site.

You guys are my favorite and would like to keep you.

Try using Ctrl+0 to restore zoom to normal (Ctrl+- zooms out, Ctrl++ zooms in )

The problem with the Zoom toolbar buttons (+ and -) builtin to Firefox 4 is that there is no way to zoom directly to normal (100%) nor even tell what zoom level you are at.

If that doesn't work see what you have for Tools > Options > Content > Advanced (see picture)

For more control over zooming things see these zoom links

To set the zoom permanently on a per site basis, try the NoSquint extension, which optionally remembers on a per site basis.

Thanks, your suggestions helped, especially the NoSquint.

Hope I am wrong and will find the solutions, but regretfully the no squint distorts the screen (GoDaddy for example) and you have to adjust individually, like you said it is applicable on a per site basis.

I did not have this problem before with my old computer. Is this problem due to windows 7?

I hate the fact that the first thing you have to do when visiting a site is adjust the screen. Seems like I will have to stop using Mozilla Firefox which I deeply regret since I have been using and appreciated for many years.

Again, many thanks for your help

I have been waiting hoping for better solutions, but still no help. The no squint solution takes the colors away from some sites which make them ineligible. Sites like GoDaddy.com.

See the attached image how part of the site is missing, etc.
