The firefox red button was at the top left corner of my page this morning, it has now disappeared and there is just an Orange webmail where it used to be. How do I get it back ?? The back and forward buttons have also disappeared I am a learner, so please reply in detail. Thankyou.

Make sure that you do not run Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F).
If you are in full screen mode then hover the mouse to the top to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear.
You can click the Maximize button at the top right to leave full screen mode or right click empty space on a toolbar and use "Exit Full Screen Mode" or press F11.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden.

  • Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if have the Firefox button on display and need to access the menu bar.
  • Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).
