how do I e-mail a page to someone else...I tried to send a "link" but to no avail

I just simply want to send a page via e-mail to someone else. I used to be able to use "send link" in the File tab but it may have been on IE. Can someone help me. I'm new to Firefox, obviously. Thanks.

hello,

It would be 'File' > 'Send Link...'. (If the 'File' menu is not visible press 'Alt' and 'F' on the keyboard together). Alternatively you can also right-click on a page and choose 'Send Link...'.

I tried all the suggested ways and even though the Send Link is visible when I click on it nothing happens, either from the File menu or by right-clicking and seeing the Send Link option. I also tried Alt and F together and that didn't work either...it just makes a ding sound. Thanks for the answers, though. I appreciate it. Maybe I need to have something installed in Firefox in order to be able to have these features work......

One more thing. Please check the entry under 'Tools' > 'Options' > 'Applications' > 'mailto'.

Vivek.Wilfred: Tried that and it didn't work either however trying that took me to places that I had never been on the toolbar so I am learning as I go. I wonder what is wrong with this thing. It sounds like you really know your stuff and I really appreciate your time helping me.
