Win 7 Home Premium AMD Athlon II x 4 640 processor 3.00GHz 4.75 GB usable RAM 64 bit OS

I watch tv series online that I miss because of work, they are flv and start out great, but after 20 min. or so they start to lag, or stutter, it gets to the point that I have to close firefox out and restart it to finish watching the shows. Some instance's actually having to ctrl/alt/delete to shut the thing down. I have noticed that if I continually move my mouse cursor that the show will stutter along , dont know if that helps any. It has never crashed, so I cant give any crash info, it just locks up or stutters to a incredibly slow crawl.

The default of the pref network.http.max-connections has been increased from 30 to 256 in Firefox 6+ versions.

Try to decrease the value of the pref network.http.max-connections from 256 to 30 as used in Firefox 3 versions.

Thanks to both of you who responded, I cleared my cookies and cache, and I lowered my network.http.max-connectioins to 30, FF did not seize up afterword, but still got really laggy while watching .flv shows.. got about 35- 40 minutes in before it started to get choppy, then it slowly got slower, or more laggy.. thankfully my show is only an hour. maybe 53 minutes since no commercials but still that last 20-15 minutes is really hard to watch.

Any more suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you check on other browsers whether this problem is persistent on those as well ??
