Firefox just updated me to a more newer version. However, when I open firrefox the program freezes every time and I have to force quite. I tried reloading firefox but to no avail?
After updating firefox, every time I try to open the program it freezes and I have to force quite. Browser comes on and one tag opens up but nothing downloads and on the force quite application window gives me Firefox is 'unable to respond'

Sorry no definitive answer, but two suggestions worth a try:
- use safe mode do not make changes in the first window just click on continue
- if the problem persists; then whilst still in safe mode disable all plugins
- try installing a previous version of firefox firefox 3.6 is still supported and secure
