Hi!

I just bought a new laptop, and I'm trying to watch Youtube videos. I installed the latest version of Flash, and the videos at the default size play fine. However I cannot adjust the volume slider. I put my mouse over the icon and it shows the slider, but when I click to change the volume, the slider bugs out and slowly closes back to hide the slider, showing just the sound icon.

Then another bug is when I click to view the video full screen, the playback options at the bottom (play, pause, volume, etc) are hidden behind my Windows taskbar! Sometimes the video bugs out as well when I go to full screen, showing only one frame and it's all pixelated/torn.

This does not happen using Internet Explorer, the volume and full screen work fine there.

Any idea what's going on? I'm using the newest version of Firefox and Flash. (64 bit)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,

You can try disabling Flash Player hardware acceleration: right-click on a video and deselect Enable hardware acceleration. If the problem persists, you can also try disabling Firefox acceleration via Firefox Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > General > Use hardware acceleration when available. Options > Advanced
