I had firefox version 12 and started to get, from Gmail and other sites, an error that said that my broswer is not suported. i updated to Firefox 13.0.1 and for a few days i had no problem. Today ( not sure if related) i installed an update from Flash and not every site is telling me that my firefox is outdated.

hello, your useragent (the bit the browser sends to sites it's loading) obviously mistakenly shows you're on firefox version 3.0.15. please refere to the last section of this article in order to reset the user-agent settings in firefox: How to reset the default user agent on Firefox
