It also crashes when I enter a keystroke on You Tube search. This has been going on the past few weeks, I think after the most recent Firefox update. Problem still exists in Safe mode.

Do you have a crash ID? Get help fixing this crash has instructions on how to get one. Can you past it to this forum if you have one?

Also, have you tried Firefox Reset? Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Help>Restart with Add-ons disabled. Try this for a while before you completely wipe it.
