Hello,

Im not sure if this is happening for everyone, but i keep getting the error message:

ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved

The following error was encountered while trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.google.co.uk/ig

   Connection to failed.

The system returned: (105) No buffer space available

The remote host or network may be down. Please try the request again.

Your cache administrator is webmaster.

It happens to around 25% of the sites i visit, and clicking on them a few times will often get them to load. This only started this morning, last night everything was fine. It's also only happening on firefox (14.0.1) as iv'e checked on chrome and no problems.

I've cleared history, cache, cookies etc but it's made no difference.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)

OK i seen to have fixed it now, so for the sake of future lurkers i'll answer my own question.

Iv'e been using a proxy on and off recently so i checked my proxy settings at Tools> options> Advanced> network tab>connection settings and noticed even though i had switched my proxy off it was still using an manual proxy configuration. So i selected 'Auto detect proxy settings for this network' and my problem is no more.

Hope this helps someone, somewhere one day. :)
