New Tab '+'/Close Tab 'x' doesn't appear; Priceblink icon keeps returning after customization; bottom right hand corner has 'permanent' icons
See here: http://i.imgur.com/29RJ0Mr.png
First red circle in top right corner is related to the new tab + / close tab x not appearing Second red circle in top left corner related to Priceblink icon not going away after removing it with customization Third red circle in bottom right corner is related to when in customization mode, there is a grey box with slashed black and grey lines that is 'permanent' and unable to customize -- how does firefox determine which icons go in this 'permanent' area?

The "X" to close the active tab doesn't appear until you open a 2nd tab.
The New Tab "+" should appear up where the tab strip is, not below the X for closing the Window.
Sorry, don't know what Priceblink is.
Bottom right corner, the Add-on bar, I recall seeing that - related to a specific extension - but don't remember which one caused that.

When I have multiple tabs open, I only see the 'x'. There is no '+' to just click and add a new tab. Control + T works, obviously, but...
Is the New Tab "button" sitting in the Customize Palette?

YES LOL
Okay so that is solved. However 1 problem and 1 question remains:
1.) Why would the Priceblink (or any addon for that matter) continue to return even after I removed it through customization? I want the addon, just not visually.
2.) What is that permanent section in the bottom right-hand corner?
Set the browser.tabs.closeWindowWithLastTab pref to false on the about:config page to prevent closing the last tab from closing that window and make a close button appear if only one tab is open.
You can find the New Tab button showing as a '+' on the Tab bar.
You can open the Customize window and drag the New Tab button that shows as a plus sign (+) from the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular toolbar New Tab button.
If you can't find the New Tab button then click the "Restore Default Set" button in the Customize window.
If you want the New Tab button at the far right end of the Tab bar then place a flexible space to the left of it.
