I used firefox for years,but had problems in the fall. Switched to google chrome, and have had better luck, but not happy with it. I just downloaded the current firefox, and went through the process of security for different sites...still will not load facebook, just text on left side of screen. Also Add on manager will not load because it says it is an untrusted site...I have a secure internet connection, and miss my old firefox. My virus protection suystem is ESET smart security. Is that the problem

If you cannot open about:addons because it is not a trusted site, you will need to set it as a trusted site in ESET. You'll have a lot of issues if you cannot get into "about" pages.
