british audio stream occurs on huffington post but is not associated with the site.
While moving within huffington post, an annoying british audio stream begins repeatedly. This apparently happens on Internet Explorer as well but I would like to figure out how to disable it.

Often flash adverts can be a cause of this kind of thing. You could try installing the FlashBlock add-on. It will automatically block all flash content on web pages and then you can choose to load the ones that you want to see.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
