After using FF with no problems for several years on my desktop Windows computer, two or three days ago, I did something (?) that caused the FF desktop icon to open a program called "inbox.com," rather than FF. I have no interest in inbox.com. How can I get the FF icon to open FF, as it has up until two days ago? Is there any relationship between FF and inbox.com? Is inbox.com malware?

You can open about:config via the location bar and search for prefs that refer to "inbox" and reset these prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu.
