Why won't Pandora let me skip songs on Firefox specifically?

I ran into a problem just yesterday when I was on Pandora.com and it would not let me skip songs even if I switched stations, and in the more peculiar case, after more than 1 hour had passed.

This problem does not occur on the desktop app, nor does it occur on Chrome. I should be able to change stations and use another 6 skips, because this is how it works, and I've used Pandora for many years now.

I tried to clear specific cookies on the site, but it did nothing. I'm not sure what else could be causing this.
