I searched Google for "YouTube" and when the listing came up I clicked on "Share Your Videos" and the page came up in Japanese. When I went to the bottom of the page where it appeared I could change the language, many languages were represented—EXCEPT English. How can I get the site to come up in English?

Try to clear the YouTube cookies.

You can inspect and manage the cookies for the domain in the currently selected tab:

  • Click the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar
  • Click "More Information" to open "Tools > Page Info" with the Security tab selected
