Firefox recently updated to the newest version and now I can't access any websites. I read that you have to disable firewalls/proxies so I did just that, but Norton Firewall is still running and I can't access it ever since Firefox updated. Could Norton be connected to firefox and somehow be blocking it at the same time? What could I do to resolve this problem and be able to access Firefox again? I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
