google bookmark bar was still available this afternoon on firefox, and now it's gone

Earlier today (Aug. 21, 2014) my google bookmarks were still on the bookmark bar. Now, they are gone. I tried importing them again, but now they are put in a folder called "From google chrome" on the bookmark bar. I want them back the way they were. I even tried reinstalling Firefox, but nothing changed. Grrrrrrrr

You can open the bookmarks sidebar or the Bookmarks Manager (Library; Show All Bookmarks) and copy and paste them to the Bookmarks Toolbar folder.
