I have been using Firefox for many years ... when coming top USA for a visit now, since the 2nd of October 2014.
1). The web pages just change to Yahoo.com search page without me requesting it. Like it's being hijacked.
2). Many of the website don't work correctly as films/video do not play.
Some sites are not being found. ERROR 404.
So I switched to Safari Browser and all the links that don't work on Firefox work fine in Safari ... all video's work well and I can hear and see them ... Lost pages in Firefox can be found.
I have taken screen grabs of this happening and am HIGHLY upset that Firefox my prefered Broswer will not work while here in USA from South Africa ... PLEASE HELP. I use Net Video Hunter and Safari is unable to download video's ... Please tell me what to do ... I have even looked at downloading Firefox again and installing. I and use "Tell Sites I don't wish to be tracked"

Try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).
I did try what you recommended ... butt still does not work ... the links still flash up showing what is on the page .. then reads
'We couldn’t find the webpage you asked for.' even though it started on the page for a split second, This has just started / happened recently.
Using Macbook Pro iOS 10.9.5 and Firefox 32.0.3.
Screen grabs can be supplied.
You can open the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer). Check on the Network tab if any content is blocked and has a file size 0 (zero) or otherwise has problems getting loaded.
Good day ... As I leave California I am still very puzzled at how Yahoo can hijack my pages while on the internet ...? A friend of mine who lives here is also puzzled at how this is happening. I have taken screen grabs and would video it if that is possible ...? The screen grabs have the time taken on each grab, so one can see how fast this happens .. in a matter of seconds Yahoo jumps in with no relevance to my link I was trying to get to or the last hit or any thing stored in my history ... Is this possible ..? As I said I use a Macbook Pro 17", Os X 10.9.5, firefox 33.0.0 ..... Where is the fault ... Is my system compromised ..?
