Huffington Post Horoscopes ask to "open" or "save" without displaying.
Firefox 40.0.2 recently started asking to "Open" or "Save" the Huffington Post Horoscopes. This is the only case where this occurs. All other Huffington Post Menu Items work correctly. Please advise. Thank you.

The website may have changed the way those Horoscopes are send and use a generic content type that makes Firefox present the 'open with' dialog.
You can use the Live Http Headers extension to check the content type in the HTTP response headers.
Thank you for your reply.
I installed the Live HTTP Headers Extension, and restarted Firefox. However the problem persists. I also discovered that the same thing happens with Internet Explorer, in addition to occuring on another computer running Firefox. This seems to be a problem with Huffington Post's, or with whatever service they are using to provide Horoscopes.
Thanks again for your quick reply...and for dedication to helping Mozilla users.
Sincerely,
Doc
What content do you see in the HTTP response headers when you open a horoscope?
Did you check that with the Live Http Headers extension?
You can first open the Live Http Headers window and then click a link to catch the request and response headers. The extension provides a toolbar button in the Customize palette.
I assume that you have to authenticate (sign on) to the website to be able to download such a horoscope or is this possible without logging in?
If that isn't required then can you post a link to open a horoscope or possibly the steps to reach a page with such a link?
Hi Cor-el,
Thank you for your followup.
After installing the Live HTTP Headers Extension, there was no noticeable difference.
The Huffington Post Horoscopes are typically available from a link on the front page of the Huffington Post News. No special tools or devices are required. The Horoscopes are one of the top attractions for the Huffington Post News, that literally millions of netizens use daily. This strange behaviour just started, which suggests that something is wrong with Huffington Post's protocols or whichever service provides their Horoscopes. The same prompt for "Open," or "Save," and "do this for all files of this type," is also appearing with Internet Explorer and on another computer with Firefox 40.0.2 installed. This leads me to believe that the problem is not with Firefox or IE, but with Huffington Post itself.
Thank you again for your followup.
Sincerely, Doc
The LHH extension does nothing on its own, but allows to inspect the network traffic and analyze the requests to and responses received from the server.
The Horoscope link on the main huffingtonpost.com site opens a php file that isn't processed by the Huffington Post server, so Firefox offers to save the page. This is a problem with the Huffington Post server because the server needs to process the PHP code and sends the resulting HTML file.
You can contact the website and ask them to check the Horoscope link.
Hi Cor-el,
Your assessment seems to be quite accurate.
Not being able to locate any contact information to Huffington Post, earlier I send an email to < support@HuffingtonPost.com > in the hope that it would reach someone who might direct my concerns about the failing Horoscope link to the right parties. That was earlier this evening. As of this writing, there has been no reply...or bouncing...of my original email.
Sincerely, Doc
