Scratchpad comes up everytime I type in the browser. How do I turn it off?

Hi Scratchpad keeps coming up when I am typing online. Sometimes pressing Enter disables it but other times it comes up with multiple screens. I do not need Scratchpad. Is it possible to fix this or disable Scratchpad altogether? Thanks

Are you talking about an add-on, or the Windows program?

Press hard the command <alt, ctrl . . . .> keys repeatedly. One may be stuck.

That is about one of the built-in developer tools. The shortcut key for the Scratchpad is Shift+F4.

Are you using any of the function keys when this happens?

Hi

Thanks for replies. It is the Windows program not an add-on. Not using the function keys when it is hapening but it only happens occasionally now so perhaps the alt ctrl... suggestion is working.
