How would I make a suggestion for FF to have an option to open up a non-e10s window?
Would I fill out a bug report, and then let the FF devs chew on that?
When I was using FDE, I saw that after e10s came out, there was an icon that opened up a non-e10s window. I thought that was pretty nifty, and could come in handy if you wanted to see real quickly if a lack of functionality on a particular site was due to e10s or not.
Right now, I have beta with e10s enabled, but I'd like to be able to quickly check and see. I have just installed the addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/process-toggle/, but that forces FF to restart. I think it would be better just to have the option to open up a non-e10s window, but to keep your current session going.

Looks like one is already up: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1003313
Someone asked my question there, and never got an answer. I will post there and see if it will be done or not.
Sorry, I no longer test the pre-release versions like DE, thus can't help you.
Bugzilla reports aren't supposed to be used for user support purposes ir to ask questions. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html
If you are looking for a place for user discussion of the pre-release "builds" such as Nightly, Developer Edition / Aurora, or Beta please go over here - http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=23 - where many pre-release versions congregate to share information. mozillaZine has been around doing Mozilla product related news, support, and 'sharing' for twice as long as this forum has been in existence. 1998 vs. 2007 for SupportMOzilla.Org aka SUMO
Thanks, Ed, but when folks go there and post requests, they are told that Mozillazine ain't Mozilla. I went ahead and inserted a comment seconding a question about a non-e10s window, in that bugzilla thread.
